Two kinds of platform account
| Account | Sees | Use for |
|---|---|---|
| Full platform admin | Everything — every school, every setting, billing, servers | You, and anyone you fully trust |
| Branch admin (restricted) | Only the schools you assign | A group's head office, or a regional partner |
A branch admin cannot reach Plans, Team, Settings or the server screens at all. Their menu even renames itself — Branch Overview instead of Dashboard, My Branches instead of Schools. Full detail in who does what.
A full platform admin can do anything you can
That includes reading every school's data, changing payment settings, and restoring a backup over the top of everything.
Give full access only to people you would trust with your bank login. For everyone else — resellers, regional staff, a group's head office — use a branch admin and assign only their schools.
Adding someone
Create the account with their name, email and password, then decide whether they are full or restricted. If restricted, pick the schools they may reach.
One account per person, never a shared one
Login history is recorded per account. A shared "admin" login means you can never tell who changed a setting or exported data — which matters most exactly when you need to know.
When someone leaves
Remove their account the same day, not eventually. Then, if they had full access:
- Change the platform master OTP — it works on every school
- Consider rotating payment gateway and SMS credentials they could have read
- Check Reports → Login Logs for anything unexpected after their last day
Common questions
Can a branch admin add schools? They work within the schools you assign. Creating new schools and plans stays with full admins.
Can I convert a full admin to restricted later? Yes — edit the account and assign their schools.
Is a school admin the same as a team member? No. School admins belong to one school and are created with that school. Team members are platform-level accounts.
